Health Insurance Bill Wrap-Up

As far as recent developments go, this pretty much says it all...

"As with Progressive Democrats, so with progressives who vote for Democrats. Yes, they're angry about Iraq and Afghanistan and civil liberties and bailouts and drone strikes and health care and every other atrocity the Democrats sponsor or support, but it doesn't make a damn bit of difference, because everyone knows that no matter what happens they'll still dutifully vote for those same Democrats. And until the day comes when they finally decide there is some shit they will not eat, they'll continue to lose."
~David John Caruso - The Origami Congressman

  1. Kos is probably yapping about how he personally got Kucinich to toe the lie, or whatever.

These fuckers all deserve each other.

I'll be over in the corner, puking.

  2. Smithee I love how you have NYPD Blue's John Kelly authoring that essay. Or did you mean the director of The Salton Sea?

I just continue to wonder if that's not part of the plan. The Republicans keep moving the conversation right and when folks get fed up with their crap the Democrats get paid well to step in, eat shit, and keep things tight until the Republican brand can get rebuilt with a little help for our "liberal" media.

  4. Thanks, CF. I was watching David Caruso's tour-de-force acting in Hudson Hawk and got all confused.

  5. Speaking of Freudian slips, do I get a pass on writing "toe the lie" up above since it was about 6 AM PST when I posted?

  6. I always confuse David Caruso with Robinson Crusoe, David Hasselhoff, Ron Howard, and Carrot Top. They're all interchangeable. Opies, every one of them. And as for the character named "Opie" on Sons of Anarchy, he's not an Opie at all. He's more like a cigar store indian.
